[NMMC] Why don’t organisers supply us with… plugs?

It’s starting to become the usual lament: why aren’t there plug points and Internet reception for media and citizen journalists at conferences - especially if you’ve invited guest bloggers? Hence the interruption in the live blogging by Eve Dmochowska, who has now been reduced to taking notes by hand. Live blogging will resume after lunch, when we have been promised power to charge our laptops (my battery is also going to die soon).
