[Highway Africa] 2008 Digital Journalism award winners

2008 Highway Africa Digital Journalism Awards - Individual/Student winner: Khaya Dlanga. Powered by Nokia.

Well, somewhere along the way it appears that the Highway Africa New Media Awards have been rebranded to the SABC-Highway Africa Digital Journalism Awards - I shall find out in the morning when I shall be one of the very few who pitch for the 8.30am Q&A session with the winners (after last night’s Absa “Red Light Dinner”, I can tell you that this morning the turnout was considerably less than on Monday morning’s full house - I have pics to prove it, too). I’m just back from the SABC gala awards evening up at the 1820 Settlers’ Monument as it’s still a ’school night’ with ‘class’ tomorrow - and the party was just getting started…2008 Highway Africa Digital Journalism Awards - Non-profit: Nirmal Shah of Seychelles. Powered by Nokia.

And the winners are:

I have been snappy happy with my Nokia-sponsored N82 but right now, I need to go to bed so I’m only putting up my pics of the happy winners. Congratulations! Hope you are partying hard right now!

Oh, thanks to Arthur Goldstuck’s tweets:
