[US blogger tour] We Blog the World kicks off on Sunday

It has finally arrived. It’s been months of planning for a very unfortunate but dedicated few. I am exceptionally privileged to be taking part in the US Bloggers tour of South Africa. I am extremely glad that I didn’t have to go through the very intense job of organising the stunning itinerary.

It really is a fantastic itinerary of things that I think most South Africans wont get to do in their lives in SA.

We are going on helicopter rides, on a balloon ride, down the deepest mine in the world, heading to Alexander bay and much, much more.

The point of the trip is to expose US Bloggers and their massive audiences to the wonders that exist in SA. What a fantastic marketing tactic by the IMC (International Marketing Council for South Africa). I am almost 100% certain that when the US bloggers leave they will be besotted with our magnificent country.

I would like to thank Bizcommunity for providing me with another platform to blog on throughout the event.

I will also be recording the events on Zoopy.com so check out my Zoopy profile for all the content.

As a final thanks I have to mention the IMC for organising such a killer event and in particular Simon Barber for his sterling work and Matthew Buckland for helping me aboard this great event.
